I have felt a little bit behind on things here lately, but I am finally catching up. I plan on posting at least once a week now, if not more.

On a Friday, a couple weekends ago, we celebrated my 27th birthday! It was a special day. My sisters made a delicious meal! (Alyssa and Ana each posted about it HERE and HERE) In the afternoon we watched Courageous for the first time. That is such a great movie! And then in the evening we watched most of the bonus features on the DVD.

I had fun taking pictures of the beautiful rose Dad gave me for my birthday. I used a setting on the camera that I hadn't used much before and I kind of like how they turned out. =)
Aren't these beautiful? My Mom gave them to me. :)

Our family went to John and Abbey's wedding. It was a joy to be part of their special day.

It was also so good to visit with friends we hadn't seen in a while.

We watched Courageous again Sunday evening. The more you watch a movie like this the more you get out of it. =) One of the many things that really stood out to me was when they said that we are accountable to God for the sphere of influence He has placed us in. Where has God placed you right now? May we be found faithful!

Happy Birthday Amy! It sounds like you had a wonderful day. :-)
I've watched Courageous twice now, and hope to see it a third time soon (it keeps getting better)! It has to be one of my top favorite movies! And the special features are SO much fun. :-) That is so wonderful you got to enjoy it all on your birthday!
I wish we lived closer and could get together more often! I hope I haven't forgotten to say happy birthday to any of you girls on your blogs . . . but if I did forget . . . happy belated birthday! ;-)
By the way, that dessert you had that Ana posted a picture of looked SO yummy! :-)
Thank you, Hannah! :)
It's good to hear from you! :)
Are you all going to the SAICFF this year?
Hmmm...I don't know if you have forgotten any of my sisters' birthdays or not. Alyssa's birthday was in Dec. and Ana's is in August. :)
The dessert tasted very yummy!:)
I hope you are having a good winter!
Blessings!

No, sadly we're not attending the SAICFF this year. I was really hoping to, but God shut all the doors - He works all things out! :-) It sounds like a lot of good films this year, though! Do you plan on going?
That must be hard. But yes, God knows what is best! :)
We aren't going either, but several friends of ours are! I am looking forward to finding out who wins the grand prize! :)
