A Relaxing Sunday Afternoon

  

Ah! Sitting in front of the fireplace with some hot chocolate and a good book = a relaxing Sunday afternoon with my family. :)

It's national chocolate day today, so of course we had to have some hot chocolate!  Although it also had some carob in it, since we didn't have enough cocoa.  Of all things to happen on national chocolate day! =D

At church this morning, Pastor gave a sermon based on Psalm 23:2b-3a:

"He leads me beside the still waters.  He restores my soul;" 

Only God can truly satisfy our souls!

"Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." ~ Hebrews 12:1-2
