Summer is now behind us, colder weather is settling in, and most of the leaves have fallen from the trees. It's October and I'm wanting to get caught up on my blog. =)
Last month was packed full of wonderful memories and blessings, including:

I shot this photo in the evening as Uncle T. and Ana were sailing back to shore.
~Spending Labor Day at the lake; canoeing, sailing, laughing, and visiting with our adopted Uncle and Aunt from church. It was a beautiful day!
~ An abundance of produce, particularly in the tomato department! =) Our apple trees didn't produce as much this year, but we are grateful for the harvest we did get.
~ An older couple we had met last fall, stopped in for an overnight stay on their way to eastern MN where they own some land. We had a very enjoyable time with them. I am grateful for the godly older friends God has brought into our lives.

~ The last weekend of September we went to the Desiring God National conference in Minneapolis, with friends. It was a very encouraging time and I am overwhelmed with gratefulness for all that God did that weekend!

~ God works in every detail of our lives. As life goes on, the more I grow in awe of Him and His love and faithfulness.
