Indiana Trip

Our family took a trip to Indiana to visit some friends.
We had a blessed time and many wonderful memories were made.

Haying was being done on their farm while we were there.  It made for a beautiful view!
We went for a walk near downtown Indianapolis one afternoon.

Is the clock or the building leaning? ;)
We walked along the canal.

And enjoyed a tasty supper at this deli, before heading back to their home.

Some fun times in the kitchen were had baking cakes, visiting, etc. :)

One of the yummy meals!

Raspberries being cooked down for a cake filling...

The completed cake!

My gluten-free "cake". =) ~gf bread with lots of frosting and filling on it.~ Yummy!

Friends are such a blessing!
This photo was taken before all of us kids headed out for an ice cream treat one evening.
I had peanut butter chocolate chunk ice cream.  So good!

Fun times in the car together.

And the hay is done!

Dear Mrs. Jacqueline working in the kitchen.
She has a great blog you just might want to go visit: http://www.deeprootsathome.com/

Beautiful landscaping!

I was going around one afternoon, taking pictures of some of the beautiful flowers and such on their property.  Mrs. Jacqueline told me about a Morning Dove's nest near the house, so I slowly got closer and closer to the tree and was able to get this shot of her on the nest.
And then she flew away and I was able to get this photo.  It took a few tries since I wasn't able to look through the view finder to get this angle of a shot from where I was standing.

We had fun making a second cake the last evening we were there.  The cake was ready at about 10:30PM and we gathered around the table to enjoy it together.  Fun memories!

We had a wonderful weekend with this dear family!
