One day soon after we got back from our trip to Indiana, I captured some shots of our garden. It has been growing well and we are enjoying the fresh produce. :)

We have several milkweed plants throughout our garden. It's always fun to see the Monarch caterpillars on them.

A couple mornings ago, I took a few more photos of the garden.

Peppers are turning.

These eggplants are getting close to being ready to pick. We also have the long and skinny kind that we've been enjoying already. =)

And yes, zucchini, of course! =)
We found a simple and yummy zucchini recipe I thought I'd share with you all here:
We made a few changes to the recipe. We used 2 1/2 pounds of zucchini instead of 2. For the cheese, we did a little over 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese and the rest Parmesan. And then we put in 9 eggs instead of 8, because we had more zucchini than it called for. We also added a pound of hamburger that we seasoned with 1 t. of salt.
We've also made this without hamburger and it is delicious that way too. :)

What lovely growing things in your garden! It's always fun to enjoy the fruits of your labor during the summer isn't it? :)
Oh wow, your cabbage looks fantastic! We planted some when were able to keep a garden a few years back, and I had quite the time keeping the bugs away (it had lot's of bug-eaten holes in the leaves). Haha. ;)
Thanks for sharing your beautiful pictures, as always, Amy!

You're welcome, dear Rachel!
Yes, it is a blessing to have fresh veggies to harvest from our garden.
The cabbage has really done well this year. A few have holes in them, but overall the cabbage worms haven't been as prevalent this year here, which is so nice!
Blessings!
