Ana's 24th Birthday

My younger sister turned 24 a couple weeks ago! We enjoyed her birthday meal the night before her birthday and then on her birthday we spent the afternoon and evening at the lake with our adopted Uncle and Aunt.  The weather was perfect and we had a relaxing time.

The birthday rose Dad got for Ana.

For her birthday meal, Alyssa and I made Nachos.

For her birthday cake, Ana picked out Mango-Lime Cheesecake.  I had fun making this yummy and creamy dessert.

Uncle T. is really good at sailing!  Almost all of us got a sailing ride with him.  It's so peaceful out there on the lake.  We also went for a boat ride around the lake and had fun spending time in the water.

Picture time on the deck of the cabin. I love my sisters!

My Dad and Uncle T. out sailing, while we ladies got started on supper.

We had a bountiful selection of food, it was a wonderful meal.  We had fruit, various side dishes, and Uncle T. grilled hamburgers and brats.  And then brownies and ice cream for dessert.

Our adopted Uncle and Aunt.  They are such a blessing!

This is the view across the road from the cabin. I snapped this right before we left to head home.

A couple photos I took on our way home.

What a lovely post to give us a flavour of your day! Ana is so blessed to have such a devoted family and you are all so blessed by her in many ways. Also, your adopted Uncle and Aunt are a very cute couple. How nice to have others that are close in heart to share life with!
The lake and cabin are gorgeous! you'll have to tell me more about sailing :)
Blessings, sweet friend!
